AI can't reconstruct missing sections. For torn photos, the sections must be scanned together and manually aligned, then retouched by hand. AI can then enhance the combined result.
Minimum 600 DPI for standard photos. 1200 DPI for small prints or those with fine detail. Higher is better - you can always downscale later.
That's colorization, a different process. Our tools enhance existing content - we don't add color to B&W. Colorization AI is a separate category.
Moderately damaged photos see significant improvement. Severely damaged photos will look better but won't become perfect. Very old photos (pre-1900) have inherent limitations.
